The Busiest Two Weeks Ever!

Reece has had a very busy couple of weeks. He seems to be doing really well with all the changes (then again, he'd be happy anywhere as long as he had chicken nuggets, trucks, and Mama and Dada)!

Reece on our last day at the YMCA.

Miss Nadene, Jack and Reece. We loved all the people we met at the YMCA and will miss them a lot.

Jack and Reece. Before we went to our new YMCA, I asked Reece if he wanted to go play. He said, "Play Jack?"

Reece and Mackenzie giving hugs. Mackenzie's mom Jessica made the cookie for Reece that, of course, picky Reece wouldn't eat.

Reece with Karen from the YMCA. Sometimes the only reason we went on Tuesdays was because Karen would be there. Reece was always excited to see her.

This is our last day in Mascoutah. Ga Ga and Pa Pa (Darren's mom and dad) came to help out and drive the truck (something I NEVER could have done). Ga Ga was able to hear Reece's favorite new phrase, "Hot Dog!" over and over again. Here's the typical usage:
Us: "Reece, we're going to get you some hash browns."
Reece: "Hot Dog!"

Us: "Reece, do you have 'yuck' in your pants?
Reece: "Hot Dog!"

So funny.

We were able to stop in the KC area and see some family. This is Reece with Mamaw and Aunt Resa (whom Reece refers to simply as "Aunt").

Darren's sister Tara and her family came to Dakota Dunes to help (a lot) with unloading. They brought Reece a puppy that, as you can see, he likes very much.

The positive side to moving out of the St. Louis area? Being able to wear his Cubs hat (a.k.a. his "Dada hat") without remarks from all those Cardinals fans!
