Reece and I visited the KC area for five days last week (Darren had to work) and spent lots of time with family. He has so much fun playing with the cousins when he's there. Actually, it's more like playing with Daisy, Dane, Dylan, and Johnny and bossing around Lillian. While we were there, we went to the Platte County Fair. If you're not from Platte County (or don't go to the Fair) I'll just say it's quite an event! Even though every year I swear I'm not going again, I find myself (and my whole family) back there every July. And I was sure that Reece would hate the rides and the Fair in general...but I was wrong. He loved it! We decided that it's just the "DuBois" coming out in him...always ready for a party!

Platte County Fair!
So, it's been a while since the last post, but now that the news is out, I can say I'M TIRED (and I'll be using that as an excuse for the rest of the pregnancy and maybe a few years after that)!

If you like the Platte County Fair so much you should try to make it to the IOWA State Fair next year! It is the best state fair of them all. It is said to be on the list 100 things you should do before you die list (or something like that). We have a blast every year.
