Darren also told me a story I have to share:
Friday morning, Darren and Reece stopped by Walmart to pick up a few things on their way to visit us at the hospital. Reece learned the sign for "I love you" at school. While shopping, Reece made the sign and told Darren it was for him. Then he said, "I'm going to show Mommy." He held his fingers that way for the rest of their shopping, the car ride to the hospital, in the elevator, and all the way to my room. We later found out that it takes him about ten minutes to get his hand in the right position; he probably didn't want to take the time to do it again.
