- Reece was out on the patio one day, and Darren and I were inside (we had the door open and we were both on the couch which is right next to the door). We've told Reece countless times that he can't yell at everyone he sees walking by. A man was walking by on the sidewalk so I reminded him again not to say anything. Then we hear Reece yell, "Hi man! Hi man! Hi OLD man!"
- We stopped and talked to one of our neighbors (an elderly woman) in the hall one day, and Reece kept saying over and over, "Look Mom, it's Coco." I don't think she could tell what he was saying so I didn't have to explain. The back story: I have a great-aunt that we call Coco. Reece really likes Coco (and so do we!). Well, every time he sees a woman with short, gray, curly hair, he calls her Coco. One time we saw two older ladies in the HyVee parking lot and Reece said, "Look, two Cocos!"
- We were outside the other day and I was talking to a lady and Reece kept running up to her saying, "Out of my way, Stinky Diesel!" (He's heard this on Thomas.) I'm sure all she could understand was "Out of my way, Stinky!"
- Another time we were outside he was playing with one of the few kids, an 8 year-old girl. Reece kept calling her a boy...whoops!
I can't help but laugh when he says stuff like this. He has a lot to learn...
