House Hunting Trip

We met Darren for a quick house hunting trip in Iowa. We left Wednesday morning and came back Friday evening. While we were there, we played at the park, went to an arcade, and explored the towns around where we will be living.


These are some pictures from the arcade. Reece got really frustrated because the games were a little too hard. Then we found one called "Big Bass Fishing" and you won tickets every time you played. He said, "I'm winning!" each turn he took. I think that game restored his confidence.

Story City has a really neat antique carousel. Reece rode it twice and loved it.

By the way, the trip was successful. We found the perfect house (for us anyway)! It's in Roland which is right next to Story City (they're in the same school district, which we hear is really good). We close on August 14 and we are all so excited! Reece said, "Yay, I have my own yard!"
