Our (mini) Thanksgiving Vacation

We were so glad to be able to spend Thanksgiving in Missouri this year, even though our trip was cut short by a fussy, feverish baby who refused to sleep unless she was being driven around. The food was good, but being able to see family, even for a short time, was better.

Caroline thought the knob on this puzzle piece was her new binky.
We had Thanksgiving Dinner at the church. It was great because all of the kids got to run around and be crazy. Plus, it was big enough to seat the almost 50 people there. Caroline was not pleasant at all that day...except when she was sleeping.

Reece had a great time playing with some cousins. While we were all eating turkey, ham, stuffing, pie, etc., Reece was enjoying a Thanksgiving feast of tortilla chips, marshmallows, and Reddi Whip. He doesn't like anything that's normally eaten on Thanksgiving.

Reece did get to spend some quality time with all of his grandparents.

Glad you had a good Thanksgiving even if it was cut short :)

I totally missed the part where you said what Reece ate for Thanksgiving. I am SO glad that we aren't the only ones who had a child that ate a random assortment of foods that day. Zane is sooooo picky. I think he had goldfish crackers and half a peanut butter sandwich...Claire had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and a roll. haha!
