Kids' Room

We've finished painting the kids' room (goodbye bright yellow paint). And I've hung a couple of things on the wall! I think we've managed to please both a 4 year-old boy and a 1 year-old girl. I have a few more things I want to hang and I'm on the look-out for another piece of furniture, but here it is, in all its beige glory...

I made a few things for this room, like Reece's bed skirt...

I also made Caroline's bed skirt and fitted crib sheet...

Another view of Caroline's bed. I know that blanket doesn't match, but it was mine when I was a baby, so it stays. Maybe I'll make a duvet cover for it...

I made them some (super cheap) wall art. Reece's is a train...

And Caroline's is paper dolls (at least that's what they're supposed to be)...

Easiest "art" ever...fabric in embroidery hoops...

I had big plans to paint the dresser some bright, fun color. Then I chickened out and decided to paint the knobs a bright, fun color. Then I chickened out again and painted the knobs brown.

I also made the curtains. I took these pictures during [semi] Naked Time.

Looks good Bobbi! I love the crib sheet!! You'll have to tell me how you made the train and paper doll pics; very cute!
