We made some slime (cornstarch, water, food coloring) and it made a mess. Notice that silver thing behind Reece- that would be our new oven.
And yes, I'm crazy. That floor needed to be cleaned anyway.
That silver thing behind Caroline would be our new refrigerator. I thought we were going to look at appliances, then come home, research prices, talk about it, think about it, then we may buy some, but Darren pulled a fast one on me and we just got them. We never do that. I liked it a lot.
Caroline ate some slime.
Valentine's crafts:
I have a confession: I'm obsessed with children's crafts. And not just for my children, but for me, too.
Reece is reading Bob Books and Caroline is "reading" a Dora book.

Reece is reading simple words and sentences now. I'm so proud. And I give a lot of credit to these Bob books.

He's still writing notes. Some favorite words have been "frootsnax", "doo not", and "dintist".

Misc. cuteness:

Caroline's Binky (or "bap") usage is out of control. Reece was off them for good by this point, but she's showing no signs of slowing down. Sometimes she puts two in her mouth at once, and sometimes she does this...

Darren is back to classroom training this past week and next. He has to stay in a hotel Monday through Friday, but he's home on the weekends. I think this schedule is actually better than the usual "schedule" (I use the term "schedule" loosely).
Much like most of the country, we've had lots of snow and wind. I looked outside one day and our mailbox was gone. Ours is supposed to be to the left of that one. So, our address is now P.O. Box 572.

Thanks Bob! I needed a Reece and Caroline fix. Try to do this about every other day . Ok?
