Snowed In

We are now prisoners in our own home thanks to around 14 inches of snow. This is NOT fun (although I guess it's better than having to get out in it with two kids). So we've been trying to keep ourselves entertained- Reece has been playing trains, Caroline has been watching Reece play trains, Darren has been shoveling snow, and I've been taking pictures...

This is the house behind ours. I don't think it was snowing anymore at this point; the wind was just blowing all the snow around.

Reece has been dressing himself. Normally I try to have control over this, but since we're not going out in public or in the cold weather, I let him have his way. His outfits always seem to include leg warmers.

Baking some pumpkin bread. Actually, they were pumpkin muffins since I couldn't find a loaf pan. Reece thought the pumpkin smelled bad, but thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Caroline is really trying to crawl. She had her nine month check up last week and since her last check up she has grown 1.5 inches taller and 10 ounces lighter. That's right, she has lost weight. She's now 16 pounds even. But, the doctor said it's not a big deal and she looks healthy.
