Bad news: All the melting snow has to go somewhere. And that somewhere happens to be our downstairs. Pair that with a broken sump pump, and that's bad news! After a mini-meltdown by me, we now have a new sump pump, a commercial-grade dehumidifier running nonstop, and carpet cleaners coming Monday. This has been a long, long winter.

The pjs are absolutely adorable!!! Sorry to hear that you had water in your basement. We did to. We'll talk more about it later, I want to know how well your carpet survived.
I guess a lot of people had this problem. The carpet people have been here every day since Monday, but they check the carpet and leave because it's still too wet to clean. So I don't know if it's going to survive at all. I guess we'll find out today. Did you guys have somebody come to your house? How's your carpet? It's always something...
