Happy Birthday, Reece!

Reece is four! There is so much that we love about this little boy, but one of my favorite things about him is how loving he is. We get so many hugs and kisses each day. And if we haven't for some reason, Reece will say, "I haven't gotten any love from my mommy (or daddy) today," and he'll climb up on our laps and give us "some love." He is sweet. And if he likes someone, he has no problem telling them that he loves them (this is great for family and friends, but a little awkward when it's the check out lady at the store). He wears is heart on his sleeve. I hope he stays this way.

We actually celebrated yesterday because Darren had to work today. We started off with a "Treasure Hunt". We hid his presents with clues to where to find the next one (because I'm a dork, and think it's fun to stay up and write little, rhyming clues). Then we ate cake, went out to lunch (that seems a little backwards, cake then lunch), and went to an arcade where Reece won a couple of prizes. I don't think he minded celebrating a day early.
