A Poem (not written by me)

How God Made Little Boys

He took some jam, and some apple pies,

He mixed in freckles, put twinkles in the eyes.

He mussed up the hair and scuffed the knees,
Created a desire for climbing tall trees.
Spirit, fun, courage, heart...the need to explore.

He added these items...and so much more.

When He was done, He rested with joy

For there before Him was the wonder of Boy.

We have this poem (by Wendy Lyn, I think it's pretty well-known) on a wall hanging that was Darren's when he was a little boy. It will be going up on the kids' wall soon.

What a sweet post! I don't remember the wall hanging, but it's cute! I hope you are going to enter these in some photo contest!

Bobbie, you are an amazing mom. I see it in your pictures, your words, and the love in children's eyes. I love reading your blog :-)

Bobbi
Are you surprised that I am leaving
a post? I had to figure out how to do it, but I had to let you know how good these pictures are.
GaGa is right. You need to enter them. Give the kids hugs and kisses from MaMa and PaPa.
