Illinois trip

Last Thursday, we made a quick stop in Monmouth, IL to visit both sets of great-grandparents. Thursday night, we ate supper with the great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins at Bob and Mildred's house. It was so good to see everyone! Reece was his usual, sociable self, and Caroline was her usual, anti-sociable self. She barely let me put her down, as evidenced by this picture...

Friday morning, we drove a few miles to see Don and Caroline at the farm. There were lots of animals that we thought Reece and Caroline would enjoy (they turned out to be mostly scared of everything).

The ducks were his favorite, mainly because he could chase them around and they wouldn't get too close to him.

Caroline did NOT want to be put down. Our children are NOT the farm-type.

She did touch a horse, though.
