Go to the Moon, Carefully

Reece has made a couple of "books" lately. They're usually random, unrelated pictures that he's drawn and I've tied together. I gave him the idea of drawing pictures to tell a story, then I would write on the pages whatever he told me. This is what he came up with, completely in his own words (even the title):

"Go to the Moon, Carefully"

To get to the Moon, you have to ride in a rocket ship.

Aliens live on the Moon. Aliens are scary.

Riding in a rocket ship, you have to be careful so aliens don't shoot you. Aliens might have hidden, camouflage guns on their ship.

Astronauts should always bring a gun so if you trap the aliens and they easily get away, you can shoot them.

The End

Love the creativity, but we may have to have a talk about what astronauts really do. And how does a four year-old know how to use adverbs properly? Especially when his mother spells "camouflage" wrong. It seriously blows my mind.

I think he is the next Mark Twain, or maybe Eric Carle. How sweet!
